Introduction to the meeting



In the past year, the development of international biopharmaceutical industry has attracted great attention. New technologies, new products and new solutions are emerging, especially cancer immunotherapy and cellular immunotherapy. Domestic biopharmaceuticals are in the ascendant, especially antibody drugs. Many companies'innovative drugs have entered the clinical stage. With the rapid marketing of the first domestic anti-PD-1 antibody drug and bio-analogue drug, China's bio-pharmaceutical industry has entered a new era. Market-oriented products, competition of similar products, medical insurance access pricing reimbursement and so on continue to become hot news. With the dramatic change of international trade situation, the sustainable development of industry has suddenly become a problem that must be faced. So while embracing change, we should be more prepared to meet challenges.


The China Protein and Drug Quality Alliance (CPQA) is a voluntary non-profit professional group for product quality self-discipline and industrial technological innovation, which is composed of enterprises and academic research institutes engaged in the protein and drug industry nationwide. Its members include more than 50 leading enterprises and academic research institutes in the field of biopharmaceuticals in China, such as Yian Jishi, Jiahe Biology, Fuhong Hanlin, Sansheng Guojian and Haizheng Pharmaceutical Industry. Since its establishment, it has successfully held more than ten seminars on the quality and technological innovation of protein pharmaceuticals, and has gradually become a platform for the exchange of protein pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals with wide influence in China.

The BioMed China 2019 will be held in Suzhou Industrial Park, the highland of China's biomedical industry. Top experts from authoritative regulatory departments, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical enterprises, medical institutions and scientific research institutes will explore new biotechnology technologies, new products, production process improvement, quality control and industrial sustainability in the light of post-marketing challenges, new health insurance policies and drastic changes in foreign trade.
